My Story

I truly believe that I was born to be a photographer....I was about 8 years old when my parents gave in and bought me my very first (pink!) camera. From that moment forward, photography has been my true passion. After I had my two beautiful children, I began to realize how very quickly time goes by and how important it is to capture these wonderful memories for my own family. Through the encouragement of my husband, I took the photography certificate course at Midlands Technical College. Since then, I have been fortunate to have awesome friends and family who have trusted me to take pictures for them. I feel that the Lord has blessed me with this gift.....it brings me so much joy to capture special moments for others to cherish. This is only the beginning for me and my family. Brooke & Ben's Engagements

My beautiful cousin Brooke called me the day after she got engaged to take some engagement pictures for her.....seriously, it may not have even been a full 24 hours before I got the phone call!!! I LOVE that she is so excited about this time in her life.....I have never seen her so happy! I think they are the cutest couple ever and it's so obvious that they are in love! :)

We decided to do their session down at The Horseshoe one evening....and we even had enough time to go down to the cockabooses before it got too dark! They made my job super-easy because they were both naturals in front of the camera.....not to mention, they're both completely gorgeous! Thank you so much Brooke and Ben....this was my favorite session ever!! Y'all are the BEST!!! XOXOXO

Happy 1st Birthday Peyton!

This sweet boy is one of my very favorites.....his parents are some of my best friends in the whole world! I was so excited to take these pictures for them. Peyton was sooooo cute eating his very first cake, and as you can see, there wasn't too much left of it in the end....LOVE it!! Happy Birthday Peyton! Hard to believe you're already turning one! :)

Maternity Session: Amy & Andy

I am so happy to finally share a few photos from my first-ever maternity session. Let me start off by saying that Amy and Andy are part of my family and I am so excited that they will be welcoming a sweet baby boy in the coming weeks! Amy is ridiculously adorable......I think most pregnant women would kill to look as beautiful as she does!! :) They are going to be wonderful parents and I can't wait to meet Brooklyn!! Once again, words cannot express how grateful I am to have so many wonderful people in my life....thank you both so much for this opportunity!
