My Story

I truly believe that I was born to be a photographer....I was about 8 years old when my parents gave in and bought me my very first (pink!) camera. From that moment forward, photography has been my true passion. After I had my two beautiful children, I began to realize how very quickly time goes by and how important it is to capture these wonderful memories for my own family. Through the encouragement of my husband, I took the photography certificate course at Midlands Technical College. Since then, I have been fortunate to have awesome friends and family who have trusted me to take pictures for them. I feel that the Lord has blessed me with this gift.....it brings me so much joy to capture special moments for others to cherish. This is only the beginning for me and my family. I hope that you will check back often, as I continue this journey. Thank you for visiting my blog!

Baby Andrew

This was definitely one of my favorite sessions......I truly loved every single minute of it! There's just nothing more amazing than watching brand-new parents with their sweet newborn baby. Rob and Wendy are friends of mine from church and I felt so honored that they asked me to photograph this special time in their lives. I look forward to watching Andrew grow....what an adorable little blessing he is!! Enjoy!

He kept wanting to stretch out his legs....could he be any cuter??

Stephanie and Kevin's Beach Wedding

As I was looking at pics on my computer, I realized that I had actually done some engagement pics for another very special couple last November! Kevin and I have known each other for pretty much our whole lives (we go to church together) and a couple of years ago his beautiful girlfriend, Stephanie, asked me if I would photograph their wedding one day. We were all so excited when Kevin proposed (finally!) and I was very happy to be their wedding photographer this past May. This is the only picture I still have on my computer, but I will dig out the others and post some more soon! Needless to say......Stephanie was completely gorgeous!!

First Engagements

It just so happens that my little sister is getting married in a few months and I felt very honored that they asked me to do their engagement pictures. This ended up being a 3 hour shoot at the Botanical Gardens and it was really lots of fun! Thank you so much, Nikki and Stanley, for trusting me to photograph this special time in your lives....I love you both!! Enjoy!
